Really enjoyed reading it. What got me in ...Vinay,

Really enjoyed reading it. What got me in this article were 1. "we are building story while listening", 2. Deception in listening, it may come from anything, like creating story or creating judgement, instead of connecting. Then it got me thinking, what is the purpose of listening? Is it about self, is it about other? What is it in the listening? We generally make virtue in listening, listen more. It finally downed on me, listening is an art of connecting. If you can listen to other (connect to other), you can learn to listen to self. Thanks, wonderful article.

On the movie itself, I liked the metaphor of water being drained out of wash basin as he let go off thoughts of the day. This was followed by his talk to his wife and him getting into new thoughts. I would have liked, if the story ended with a moment of interaction between hero and his child.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
