Unlike 1985, Intel is not losing market share to its competitors (AMD). In fact, Mr. Google says that Intel has gained market share especially when you consider shipments from Dell and HP.<BR/><BR/>2. Semiconductor is a cyclic industry which means periodic slashing of overcapacity is part and parcel of the business model.
